Data confidentiality and the protection of our Patients' and Clients' privacy are our top priorities. Therefore, out of concern for the security of your data and in compliance with applicable laws, Lekarze w Warszawie Medical Center sp. z o.o. has established a policy defining the rules for collecting, processing, and using personal data.
This Privacy Policy of Lekarze w Warszawie Medical Center sp. z o.o. aims to explain how we handle information regarding you.

- personal data – within the meaning of Art. 4 point 1) of the GDPR, means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject"); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly;
- processing – within the meaning of Art. 4 point 2) of the GDPR, means an operation or set of operations performed on personal data or sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction;
- GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);
- Controller – within the meaning of Art. 4 point 7) of the GDPR, means the data controller, i.e., the entity which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. Whenever this Policy refers to the Controller, it means Lekarze w Warszawie Medical Center sp. z o.o. (hereinafter also: Lekarze w Warszawie Medical Center), which independently decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data;

§ 2. What data we obtain and how we use it
Every time we ask you to provide any personal data, we will inform you exactly about the conditions of its processing. We may collect personal data concerning you via forms or in connection with the operation of your account on the website. We may also obtain your personal data if you write to us or call us using the contact details provided on the website or in this Privacy Policy. Your data may be used by Lekarze w Warszawie Medical Center sp. z o.o. for, among others, the following purposes:
- in connection with the provision of services to you by Lekarze w Warszawie Medical Center, i.e., to take actions aimed at concluding a contract at your request, including preparing a dedicated offer, and in the case of concluding a contract between you and Lekarze w Warszawie Medical Center, also for the performance of the contract, based on Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, until the complete performance of the contract or until its termination or expiry;
- if you use services provided for a fee or financed from public funds under reimbursement, to fulfill legal obligations incumbent on Lekarze w Warszawie Medical Center, including those resulting from accounting and tax laws, based on Art. 6(1)(c) of the GDPR in connection with the provisions of these laws, for the period resulting from the regulations contained therein;
- to respond to an inquiry sent by you to Lekarze w Warszawie Medical Center – based on the necessity to pursue our legitimate interest in the form of responding to the inquiry addressed to us, i.e., based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, until the inquiry is answered or until a successful objection to the processing of your data is lodged;
- to conduct marketing of our own products and services – based on the pursuit of our legitimate interests in the form of direct marketing of our own products and services, i.e., Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, whereby, in accordance with the provisions of Art. 10 of the Act on the Provision of Electronic Services and Art. 172 of the Telecommunications Law, we require additional consent to use the provided communication channels for marketing activities. If you are a contact person for us at our contractor, we conduct direct marketing of our products and services in the context of business cooperation between us and the company you represent, also based on our legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Within such a business relationship, we will, among other things, send invitations to meetings, information about products, promotions, and contests, and conduct marketing research. Data for this purpose may be processed until an objection is lodged or until consent to receive marketing and information materials electronically is withdrawn;
- to create statistics and reports that will serve to improve the effectiveness of our marketing activities and build a business strategy – the vast majority of such statistics are created based on non-personal data or anonymized data. In cases where personal data are used for this purpose, their processing will be based on the necessity to pursue our legitimate interest in the form of conducting analytical and statistical activities aimed at our development, i.e., based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, until a successful objection to the processing of your data is lodged.
- to establish cooperation, if you are a contact person for us at our contractor or potential contractor, to contact you on current matters, including the performance of contracts between us and your employer/entity you represent, presenting offers, receiving orders, and answering questions. The legal basis for processing data is our legitimate interest consisting of the possibility of ongoing contact with our contractors (i.e., their employees/associates), based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, until a successful objection to the processing of your data is lodged.
Your data may also be processed to establish, pursue, or defend against possible claims that may arise in connection with the use of services provided by Lekarze w Warszawie Medical Center or, if you are a contact person for us at our contractor, in connection with the contract with the entity where you work or which you represent – if a dispute arises regarding the contract. In such a case, your data will be used based on the necessity to pursue the legitimate interest of Lekarze w Warszawie Medical Center in the form of securing claims, i.e., based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, for the time provided for by legal provisions regarding the statute of limitations for claims. After this period, your data will be permanently deleted from the database of Lekarze w Warszawie Medical Center.
